Title 1 - Edited by Bill Adler,
The Kennedy Wit, New York, Bantam, 1964, 1965, SC, 127p., copies range from F to E.
This is the paperback version of the best seller. Kennedy had a way with words and a keen sense of humor. Adler collects some classic examples of JFK's spoken and written gems along with many photos.

Title 2 - Rowland Evans and Robert Novak,
Lyndon B. Johnson: The Exercise of Power, New York, Signet, 1966, 1968, SC, 640p., copies range from P to VG.
Billed as a "total dissection of the Johnson performance," this book, written by the noted television pundits, is a mixed bag of soft praise and criticism of the power-obsessed LBJ released at a time when LBJ was still a sitting president.

Title 3 - Barbara Garson,
Mac Bird!, New York, Grove Press, 1966, 1967, SC, 109p., copies range from F to VG.
This is the text version of a play that paints a very unflattering picture of a tragic/comic character that is a cross between Shakespere's Macbeth and Lyndon Baines Johnson. The implication is that LBJ was the man behind the assassination. LBJ probably didn't appreciate her sense of humor.

Title 4 - J. Evetts Haley,
A Texan Looks at Lyndon: A Study in Illegitimate Power, Canyon, Texas, Palo Duro Press, 1964, SC, 254p., copies range from F to VG.
A cowboy historian trashes LBJ by detailing dirty tricks and scandals supposedly attributed to the man who became President following the death of JFK. This book, for some reason, deals very little with the JFK assassination.

Title 5 - John F. Kennedy,
Profiles in Courage, New York, Popular Library, 1956, 1963, SC, 233p., copies range from F to G.
John F. Kennedy wrote this book to let people know about the people who he admired in American history. He was impressed with their courage, their creativeness and their desire to do what was right, no matter what the cost.

The Enemy Within, New York, Popular Library, 1960, SC, 320p., copies range from F to VG.

Title 7 - Priscilla Johnson McMillan,
Marina and Lee, New York, Bantam, 1977, 1978, SC, 689p., copies range from F to VG.
Priscilla McMillan is an author who many critics believe was some sort of agent for the U.S. government. She was largely responsible for isolating Marina Oswald from exposure to conspiracy-oriented information. This book was delayed for many years and is one of the most militant of lone assassin oriented books. Oswald's wife now believes there was a conspiracy and that her husband, Lee Harvey Oswald, was a patsy.

Report of the Warren Commission, New York, Bantam, 1964, SC, 726p., copies range from F to G.
The New York Times reprinted, almost immediately, the Government Printing Office report and added essays by four journalists who all strongly supported the official, lone-assassin theory.
